One of only twenty in the country, The Raby Hunt is North East England’s first and only two Michelin star restaurant.
Owned and run by one of Britain’s most exciting and innovative young chefs James Close, he is known for his highly original yet visually stunning food. The Raby Hunt offers just one tasting menu of 15 to 17 courses, which is presented by our passionate Front of House members, who strive to offer a relaxed but formal dining environment.
In the restaurant, we can cater for parties of 1 to 6, and for larger group enquiries, please call the restaurant.
Depending on the dietary request, we can only offer minor changes to our menu. We are not able to offer a vegetarian menu and we are not able to cater for major allergies. Please check before making a reservation and if purchasing a gift voucher please check the dietary requirements of the recipients. We do not accept children under the age of twelve in the restaurant.
